‘Stichting Present Amsterdam’
is a charitable organisation which forms a bridge between people who want to help others, and people who for whatever reason are in need of such help.

By locals, for locals!
Within our great community of Amsterdam we aim to help others in need. We operate in cooperation with various social institutions and housing federations.

We offer help in:
• Moving house
• Painting rooms
• Cleaning out gardens
• Cleaning houses or entire neighbourhoods
• Activities for and with the elderly

Projects made to measure
The projects for which your help is needed, are tailored to whatever you or your group want to do. You will never be asked to work in a project, which you would not find suitable. Present offers both practical, as well as socially orientated help. If for instance you offer help in painting a room, we will find you an appropriate project. You can also offer your services as an individual.

Duration of a project
As a group you decide how much time you have available. Either a full day, or a part of a day or an evening, anything is possible. It is also possible to do projects which take longer than one day. It is entirely up to you. By putting more than one volunteer on a project, a lot can be done in a short amount of time.
